Democrat calls reading of the Constitution, "propaganda"...

Republicans plan to recite the text of the Constitution aloud on the floor of the House tomorrow, as a reminder to all of the members of the House of Representatives exactly where their powers derive and what the limits of those powers are...

Leave it to a Democrat to object to a reading of our Republic's original framework document, as if it were a crucifix and garlic...

Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) claims "They are reading it like a sacred text" it's a "ritualistic reading," "total nonsense" and "propaganda. You are not supposed to worship your constitution. You are supposed to govern your government by it."

I see... so reading the Constitution in the people's house is "propaganda." Is this really what Democrats believe, that reading the founding document that defines Congress' powers is "total nonsense?"

Reactions like this are exactly why Republicans are now the majority party in the House. Democrats neither believe in the principles of the Constitution, nor its authority to govern the activities of the Congress, nor the LIMITATIONS that it imposes on selfish politicians like Jerrold Nadler.

The Washington Post likens this reading to a religious rite. Leave it to the mainstream media to twist and shape the facts. Obviously, the reporters at the Washington Post don't want to acknowledge the authority of the Constitution either...
